1. Project Overview: This scope of work outlines the necessary tasks and responsibilities for the replacement of a tile roof, including the installation of TU Plus underlayment, removal and replacement of stucco and flashing, and installation of new tiles. The objective is to ensure a durable and weather-resistant roofing system that meets safety and quality standards.

3. Scope of Services:

3.1 Preparation:

  • Conduct a preliminary inspection to identify any additional structural or roofing concerns.
  • Clear the work area of debris and ensure the site is safe for workers and residents.

  • Set up safety equipment and scaffolding as needed.

3.2 Tear-Off:

  • Remove the existing tile roof completely, ensuring all old materials are disposed of in compliance with local regulations.

3.3 Installation of TU Plus Underlayment:

  • Carefully remove the old stucco and flashing around roof edges, vents, chimneys, and other penetrations.
  • Dispose of old materials following environmental and safety guidelines.

3.5 Installation of New Stucco:

  • Apply new stucco around the roof edges and penetrations, ensuring a seamless and durable finish.
  • Allow sufficient drying and curing time as per manufacturer’s recommendations.

3.6 Installation of New Tiles:

  • Install new roofing tiles according to manufacturer’s specifications, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
  • Replace or install new flashing around roof edges, vents, chimneys, and other penetrations to ensure watertight seals.
  • Conduct a final inspection to verify that all tiles are properly installed and secured.

3.7 Cleanup and Disposal:

  • Remove all construction debris from the site and dispose of it in accordance with local regulations.
  • Clean the work area and ensure no leftover materials or tools remain on the property.

  • TU Plus underlayment.
  • New roofing tiles.
  • Stucco materials and flashing components.
